FRANCIS, BERYL
Beryl Randall Francis, 93, passed away Jan. 11, 2008, in American Fork, Utah, and is celebrating the reunion with her husband; parents; four sisters; and two brothers. Beryl was born Aug. 12, 1914, in Pine, Ariz., to Bert Davis and Lucy Pearl Leavitt Randall. She married Richard Llewellyn Francis May 26, 1940, in Pine, Ariz., and they were sealed in the Mesa Temple in 1946. She had a great love of teaching and taught in the Clark County School System. Beryl was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many positions, including 30 years as primary president. In her youth, she served a mission in the Northeast States Mission. She was an avid baseball fan. Beryl is survived by her two children, Janis Stoney and John (Bee) Francis; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at the Boulder City 5th Street LDS Chapel, where friends may call from 9:30-10:45 am prior to the services. Burial will be in the Boulder City Cemetery.
