Obituary
Celebrating the life of Lloyd M. Hansen, 88, of Boise, ID, who passed away June 2, 2004 surrounded by his family.

He was born in Pella, ID on October 7, 1915, the first born son of Milton Levi and Cora Mae Randall Hansen. After losing his father at the age of six, his family moved to be closer to relatives. He grew up helping his mother care for and support his three younger siblings. He was educated in Boise schools, attending Boise High School.

He met Debora Hymas, the love of his life, and they were married on March 24, 1934, in Rupert, ID, and in March of 2004 they celebrated their seventieth wedding anniversary.

He spent his life pursuing what he loved, raising cattle. He owned a number of ranches in the Mayfield and Mt. Home area. He loved spending time helping and encouraging young ranchers get started and succeed in the cattle business.

Lloyd is survived by his wife Debora of Boise; sons, Darrell Hansen of Boise, and Richard Hansen and his wife Jenny of Eagle; daughter, Phyllis Hoyt and her husband Tim of Columbus, OH; sister, Mildred Brereton of Casa Grande, AZ; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John Milton Hansen; and brothers, Darrell and Milton Hansen.
