Ruth Richards Hymas, Salt Lake City, passed away in Twin Falls, Idaho August 1, 2002. She was born March 15, 1900, in Georgetown, ID, to Wilford W. and Emily Randall Richards. She married Charles Alfred Hymas May 28, 1919 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Ruth was a faithful and active member of the LDS Church and served a mission in Australia with her husband. She served in many leadership and teaching positions throughout her life. She also served her community as a volunteer at the LDS Hospital and at the Relief Society building. Ruth was born sixth in a family of 12 children and is the last to join them and others in a much looked forward to reunion.

She is survived by three children, Theo (Maurine), Alpine, Ada Marie (Shirl, recently deceased), Salt Lake City, Max (Mary), Sandy; 18 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and 15 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; daughter, Joyce and Jay Lindberg; son, Charles Junior and wife, Billie Jean; and two grandsons. Private graveside services were held at Salt Lake City Cemetery Aug 5, 2002.
