In Christiana, Dane Co., Wis., at the residence of his son, R. W. Brown, Oct 5th, 1867, Williams Brown, Esq., late of Brookfield, N. Y., aged 85 years. Bro. Brown made a profession of religion more than seventy years ago, and united with the First Baptist Church of Brookfield, of which he remained a worthy member until his death. He was the last of a family of nine children, all of whom save one, attained a good old age. He leaves his children and numerous relatives and friends the satisfaction, that his is the blessedness of those that 'die in the Lord,' and that 'he rests from his labors, and his works do follow him.
