Obituary:
Miss Martha Roe, for twenty-six years the head of the Methods Department at the Normal School at Cortland, died at 1:10 o'clock this morning at her home, 77 Railroad St. For several weeks she had been in failing health, though allicted with no particular desease. Last week a slight fall in her room gave quiet a shock to her system and caused her to take to her bed. On Tuesday of this week she dropped into a quiet sleep from which she never wakened and the end came peacefully at the hour stated above. Miss Roe was the last survivor of a family of six children of Mr. & Mrs. Sylvester M. Roe. She was born in Virgil, unpon August 21, 1833.
